Dee Spot has one of the best everything bagels in the Bay Area. I think it was on one of those best bagels lists a couple years back. It's not a chain - it's just a local spot where they make the baked goods and other food fresh in house. The star of the show here is the bagel breakfast sandwich: thick cut bacon and fried egg with your choice of cheese and I think they even have a garlic aioli. They slice it in half so that you can think about saving half for later but then immediately convince yourself to devour the other half. Service is just okay. Since they make everything fresh, it's all in small batches so not the largest selection and the wait takes more than a few minutes. Overall, I'd recommend it as a good place for a casual, kinda quick breakfast. Dee spot is thee spot for bagels!

Great local spot for a morning pick me up. Their coffee menu is simple; no-frills and really tasty quality. They usually sell out of their bagels (and Japanese cold brew) by the afternoon, so I would recommend going early (before 11am) if you're interested in trying something specific! Though you can't go wrong with any of their bagels - all slightly crispy to the bite and soft on the inside. We've tried the peanut butter bagel (good mix of sweet with some spices and granola texture), breakfast bagel sandwich (perfectly fried egg whites and thicke bacon), and lox (fresh and tangy with pickled veggies) -- all really gooood.
